Hi. My name is Margie Weiss. I have been in the fitness industry about 35 years and dont go calculating how old that makes me? As a child I was a national level athlete; as an adult, I have run a national level gymnastic program, I have owned gyms and I am currently the Director of Group Exercise in a number of gyms. I am also a personal trainer. Some of my favorite trainees have been my own three kids, all of who made it to the international level in their sports. You may know my son. His name is Michael Weiss and he is an Olympic figure-skater. In training athletes and adults, what we notice is there are three things that they need. One of them is strength, one of the best ways to get strength easily and safely is in the circuit. A circuit is in the gym. It is a system of machines one for each muscle group of the body. The nice thing about the circuit is that it is very safe, because your body is stabilized and you are individually working one muscle at a time. What you are going to wear when you are working out is a good pair of athletic shoes, your clothing needs to be breathable, moveable and yet close enough to your body, that you wont entangle yourself in the machine when you are working out. So, now let us get started working on the circuit.
