Host: How does the body show signs of stress?

Dava Money: The body shows signs of stress with what is called the fight or flight mechanism and our body gears up for some kind of disaster or trauma or something that we need to deal with on a physical level. So the heart beats faster, the breathing becomes more shallow, our palms may sweat, our stomach may clench up. We may develop digestive problems, we may have some muscular tension specially in our neck and in our shoulders. We may end up having difficulty in sleeping and actually end up with many more colds than normal.
