Host: How does stress affect thinking?

Dava Money: Stress also affects our thinking and one of the more painful ways, so that it affects our thinking is how we perceive ourselves. So we may begin to perceive ourselves as less than adequate. We may begin to have greater self-doubts, greater self-consciousness and less confidence. We may lose our ability to concentrate, we may lose our ability to have a sense to humor and be able laugh in the moment and take everything including ourselves much too seriously.
