Host: When should I see a professional?

Dava Money: It's important to know when you should see a professional. Anytime that you think you should then you certainly should. Anytime that a loved one tells you that they believe that you need help, it would be important to listen to that and follow up on it. It's better to be safe than sorry and a professional can tell you whether or not you need the professional and direct you in the right direction.

If you are showing signs of depression, it's very important to see a professional as soon as possible. Those signs include irritability and agitation of your body, a loss of energy or great fatigue, difficulty in sweeping or sleeping too much. A loss of pleasure or interest in the things you normally like to do. Any thoughts or plans of suicide. If any of those things surface for you and last for up to two weeks, it would be very important to see a professional.
