Host: What diseases are affected by stress?

Dava Money: All diseases are exacerbated by stress. Stress can exaggerate the symptoms. It also ultimately will lower our immune system, making us more vulnerable to different diseases. It may also allow genetic hereditary diseases to show up that would not if we were in a common environment. Almost all mental illnesses are brought about or exacerbated by stress too.
