Host: How do I learn to mediate?

Dava Money: If you want to learn to mediate, there are number of ways to do so. You can teach yourself simple forms of mediation, you can find a mediation teacher, you can learn from CDs and DVDs. If you want to learn yourself, start of simple by simply sitting on a chair with your back straight, so that your lungs are wide open and begin to breathe through your nose down into your belly, doing several belly breathes and simply observe your breath going in and your breath going out and you may want to say as your breath is going in, breathing in and you may want to say as your breath is going out, breathing out, to give something to concentrate on and when your mind wanders, simply come back to your breath and the breathing in and the breathing out.
