Host: What are some breathing exercises that I can practice?

Dava Money: There are many breathing exercises you can practice; we will start with something simple. The first thing you may want to do is to lie down on bed comfortably, place your hand on your belly. Take a couple of breaths and notice how your chest rises. Now intentionally breath way down into your belly and allow your hand to rise higher than your chest and keep focusing on that and you will get your belly breath working for you. Another thing that you can do is to try and make your inhalation and your exhalation at the same length. So as you inhale, count and then exhale, count to that same number and make it the same length. You will notice that we often have one as longer than the other.
