I have been a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse since 1990, assisting the smallest and most fragile babies to acheive successful breastfeeding. After many years of seeing a great need for lactation expertise specifically with this population, I took additional courses, and sat for the international board exam for lactation consultants.  Having earned my IBCLC,I decided the most emotionally rewarding career path for me was private practise. I now work as a private lactation consultant with families in New York (Rockland and surrounding counties) and New Jersey ( Bergen and surrounding areas). Please visit my website.
