We have been swing dancing and performing since 1999. In 2007 we opened Head Over Heels Dance and Fitness in Fairfax, VA. We are currently teaching three days a week and hosting swing dances with live music the second Thursday of each month. This is a great opportunity for the students to practice what they have learned. Come check us out!

I became disabled a little over two years, and it took nearly a year to even stand up again. According to my neurologist, the nerves in my leg are dead, no longer signalling the brain to tell my legs what to do, so basically, my legs are "guessing." Well, I am finally beginning to walk with decent balance, and the doctor agrees that getting started in dance would be great therapy... I have looked at many introductions to swing dancing, and your series on here I find to be the best. Thanks Mike &
