Host: What formula can I use to divide my time between work and friends and a relationship?

Toni Coleman: That's a really important question and it's going to depend very much on the individual. People have to really think about what's important to them. They have to really look realistic at their life and how much time is required for the different demands that they have for the type of work that they do.

Everybody is really a little bit different. Also some people have large networks of friends and other people have very small ones. Some people have very demanding jobs and other people have 9 to 5 jobs. Some people have relationships that are long distance or relationships that for whatever reasons might require a little bit more accommodation. So I think everybody has to kind of look at that and look at what it is that they need and what's going to be required given their circumstances and if they really put careful thought into it and they kind of are flexible and are willing to go with it for a while and see how it's working for them then it will be a good formula for them. But again it's really up to the individual. I could sit here and say you know you need to spend this much time, you need to do that every week and it wouldnt be practical, it wouldnt be realistic.
