He served as a sports and product development consultant and sponsored-athlete for PowerBar, SportsStreet Marketing (GU), MLO Sports Nutrition, and Zand Herbal Formulas. Mr. Francis is also an elite endurance athlete whose sports history includes professional and elite competition in cycling, skiing, running, and triathlon. He was a top US finisher at the 2004 Los Angeles Marathon.
