Host: How can I find a properly trained counselor who can help me know if I am ready to get married?

Rev. Bill Cochran: In dealing with this question, it's always good to make sure that the counselor you are seeking out has some tools that they can help you with and some skills. Now, I had mentioned talking to your religious leader and hopefully they have trained themselves for those skills but it's the kind of situation that you don't want to just sit down and just kind of talk about it because you are obviously struggling with some situations that you would like some help with. So you want to find someone who has those skills.

So when you are searching around whether it's a counselor and officiant like myself, you would want to ask them what kind of training they have? What kind of tools they can offer you in working through some of the situations? Trying to figure out where to move this relationship.
