Host: How do I know if I have found my soul-mate?

Rev. Bill Cochran: Unfortunately, I can't answer that question for you. But I think what's you are really asking is how do I really know if this is my soul-mate? Well, that's something that perhaps some of us could help you sort through but you really want to deal with what kind of compatibility do we have? What kind of things do we share in together as a couple? Do we enjoy some of the same things? Do we have fun together? What is it that attracts me to this person?

Looking at some of those things can help you decide how much you really, really share in this person's life. Sometimes we feel pressure to, Well, you are of the age, now it's time to get married, or my biological clock is ticking, I better hurry up. So we feel ourselves kind of pushed and rushed into finding someone that we can hook up with. Of course, as a pre-marriage counselor, I would advice you to make sure that this is the right one, so that you could make sure it's a lifetime commitment that you are really making.
