Where should we live once we are married?
Host: Where should we live once we are married?
Bill Cochran: That may not be a very pertinent question for you. Depending on your situation, I know some of you already are sharing a place together and you call it your place, so that's not even a question. But then there is others of you who are just getting out of college, maybe just moving to a new city for work and the fiance lives in another city and you are trying to figure out that we are going to go to his city, her city, a neutral city and once we get there we are going to live in city and suburbs and what's it's going to be like, are we going to buy our dream house now or later.

Those are all things that I like to work with couples on, in the pre-marriage counseling phase of this whole relationship and it's something that if you don't -- if you are not doing pre-marriage counseling, I would hope that at least the two of you would sit down and do some counseling with one another and work out some of these issues and for you it could be wherever we live. Well, bring in both of your desires, your ideas, your ideals and see if you can come to some kind of compromise.
