Host: After getting engaged when does the wedding planning start?

Bill Cochran: I have referenced earlier the bride who has the planning book hidden away in her closet ready to pull out as soon as she is asked. So, for many brides anyway, they are planning within the few minutes and for sure about the next day. However, I have also met a lot of brides and grooms who say, you know the engagement process is a fun process and it's a fascinating process and we would like to kind of play it out and enjoy that process and busy with family and friends and celebrate the engagement and then move over to planning the wedding.

But I think it really has to do with you as a couple and the kind of process you want to take, but I would like to say it's fun to enjoy the engagement. So don't push it any faster than you have to.
