Host: Can my officiant recommend other vendors in this area? Bill Cochran: Yes, I believe any officiant should be able to recommend other vendors that they have got to know as they have rubbed shoulders with them during weddings. Whatever area you are in, your officiant will know the ones that he likes working with and he has his reasons why he likes working with them. In my particular situation, I belong to the Association of Wedding Professionals which many officiants belong to different organizations and in that association we get to know the other vendors real well and build friendships with them and just build a level of comfort in knowing that we really can trust the work that they are doing and since you are going through this for the first time, it's tough for you to know well, who really can I count on, who can I trust and hopefully, you can rely on our word on some of those things.
