When should we plan the wedding ceremony?

Host: When should we plan the wedding ceremony? Bill Cochran: That's a good question for you to ask your officiant. I think the best time would be about a month away from the wedding itself. You have things you need to do, you have a lot of last minute details to worry about. You don't want the ceremony to be one of those. You maybe working on some type of program. You need to know what order of the ceremony is going to be, so you can do that. That's something you don't want to do the night before the wedding either. So I would suggest a month ahead of time is a very good time line. Now occasionally, brides will want to do it sooner than that and very rarely, but sometimes because of different circumstances it's difficult to get it done a month ahead of time. But I think that's the goal to aim for.
