Should I tip my wedding officiant?

Host: Should I tip my wedding officiant? Bill Cochran: That would be nice, but you don't have to. Now there is different guidelines you will find online talking about how much to tip each one of the vendors and quite a few do, but I never go to a wedding thinking, Oh, I am going to get a tip here. I have tried to charge a price that I feel is reasonable and fair and that's what I plan to get.

The reasons maybe to tip a wedding officiant would be you are really, really impressed with his or her work with you and you want to do an extra thank you and it's always appreciated but, expected? Not really. Maybe that's a nice thing about a tip.
