    Is it really?
Interesting. I would like to know exactly what kind of chemicals are actually added to marijuana that is so much more harmful than cigarette. It makes me wonder then why there is such a thing as "medical marijuana" if that's so dangerous for your body. Some of my friends are legally prescribed marijuana for medical purposes. If one joint is really equal to one pack of cigarettes, they should be hopelessly ill by now. Anyway this video is not really informative, it almost sounds like propaganda

    not science
The video clip on this subject is totally inaccurate and not by backed up by unbiased scientific studies. For starters, not one case of lung cancer has ever been linked to Marijauna use, and it goes on from there. Look around and and you'll find the truth, they have done plenty of proper studies on this.

    Incorrect
I've done a huge amount of research for a couple of papers I did in college. A huge number of medical doctors agree that it has hugely effective medical uses. Not only that but what additive is she talking about? "Wellness Expert"? Ha... indeed.

    Added Chemicals?
What "added chemicals" are you referring too??? Frankly I've never heard such an ill informed piece of factless drivel in my life!

    Doubtful
This information is poorly presented and not supported with any outside sources. Most articles I've read on the subject, suggest that the opposite is true. In fact, marijuana has been used for thousands of years because of its medicinal properties. The only validity to the presented arguement is that most commonly, ciggarettes are smoked through a filter, whereas marijuana is not. Also, this information doesn't seem to take into account; tintucres, vaporizers, or edible treats made from pot.

    Complete rubbish
I'm neither an advocate or antagonist of Marijuana use; However, I am very much against anyone that says tobacco use is less dangerous than marijuana use. Gwendolyn Francavillo, you ma'am are misinformed! The fact is, Tobacco kills more than 450,000 people in the United States each year. There has never been one case of cancer linked to marijuana use and there has never been any death due to marijuana consumption alone.

    Also
Marijuana has around 400 different chemicals, while Tobacco has over 4,000 chemicals, 37 of which are known to cause cancer!

i smoke over 40 cigs a day mj smokers i know do not smoke anywhere near that many.even if it was more dangerous (doubt it) most people would not even come close to getting the same harmfull effects of smokeing cigs one-for one

So, it seems she is just regurgitating the propaganda, and not actually talking about the actual research that has proven her wrong on a most of the points she mentioned. For example, there has been ZERO link found to cardio/pulmonary problems associated with smoking marijuana... especially if smoked through water filtration, or even better a vaporizer.

    Its in the question

    common sense
I just checked to see if she she would say no. Just compare the death rates (450,000 to zero)and use common sense, scary a phd would come to these conclusuions. Im glad all of the response comments are informed, backed by real science and guess what, not one person in agreement. Be wary of any advice from this institution.

    Way off point
Does anyone know of a way to flag inaccurate videos? The person speaking is obviously not an expert and has no knowledge of the actual effects of marijuana use. Garbage like this does not belong here; I'm looking to be informed, not offended.
