    While the presentation was...acceptable, the subject matter is a wholly different matter. Grand Theft auto, and all ultra-violent video games for that matter, are a blight on humanity. Parents can hardly be expected to compete with all of the adult entertainment that kids can access these days. Please send a letter to your local congressmen...No More Grand Theft Auto!

    I was hooked on GTA III for a while (enough to drop some money on a video card and steering wheel for it). I don't have that kind of time today, so I'm glad I get to live vicariously. Thanks Derek!

    Sweet BMW M6!
    That car rocks. The BMW M6 is such a fine automobile. Pretty cool intro and how they got the M6 inserted into the video game with the expert. This guy knows his stuff. The only thing missing was his Hot Pockets and Big Gulp from the Halo video:)

    Don't Hate The Game
    I liked the way the video was shot with the guy in the car talking (this was very creative). Although I don't personally enjoy this type of video game there are people out there who do and it is a parents responsibility to establish responsible game play for their children. People need to be more aware of what their children are doing not just give them free reign.

    Not on my watch
    I imagine that the video would appeal to many 10-year-old boys, however the depiction of Grand Theft Auto as a fun kids game falls in the category of what has gone wrong with parental supervision in the 21st Century. This game and others like it that promote violence and illegal behavior should be illegal!

    bill22005 and Nefas. This game is rated NC 17. Mature Audiences only. You must be 17 to purchase this game, even if you have a moronic adult parent standing with you who will purchase it for you. "This game and others like it that promote violence and illegal behavior should be illegal!" And next we should ban the movie "The Godfather". And after that "Saving Private Ryan". And after that "The Boondock Saints". Wake up. People can tell the difference between video games and reality.

    The problem with your argument is that you imply that video games and legitimate film have equal artistic value, which is simply not the case. These are games, not art. Nothing is learned or gained by taking part in the experience they provide. There's quite a bit a relevant literature on the subject. Anything by Jack Thompson would be a good start.

    Derek Campbell: Hi, I am Derek Campbell, video game expert and today we are going to be going through the basics of Grand Theft Auto IV. Alright guys, glad to see you picked up a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV. The goal of this video is to enhance the overall playability and fun that you are going to be having while playing this game. What I am going to be doing is showing you how my hands are working while the video game is actually playing. It's going to be a lot of fun so stay tuned.

    Some of the topics that we are going to covering in this video series are going to include basic game play, how to use your phone and your map, some basic fighting skills, some cool tips and tricks. We are also going to go over proper gun use and combat basics. Then we have got to get into some cheat codes and guess what guys, more cheat codes.

    Alright, you are not going to need much to begin with this. All you are going to need is either an X-box 360 or PlayStation 3. You are also going to need a TV, doesn't even have to be a High Definition TV, a regular Standard Definition TV will do. Alright now as far as safety is concerned there are a couple of issues with this one. First of, drinking while driving, falling out of a moving vehicle, getting busted by the cops and you want to maintain a good amount of space between you and your explosives. But most importantly this is just a video game. Alright guys, I have been playing video games for about 20 years now and I have been following specifically the quadrality, what do you call it, it's the fourth one. Since it was first released in 1997, I have been immersed in its world where you can interact with absolutely anyone and everything. Alright, so now that you are strapped in, ready to go, let's get started playing Grand Theft Auto IV.
