    woah woah, where's your hat?

    yeah
although a hair net and gloves would have been comforting, I really don't feel there was any new information in this video that we didn't already know about making sundae's. The whip cream info is on the back on the can... this one was a miss for me.

I used to go to Gifford's all the time! I love that place!

Pamper your taste buds with the sweet offerings of Gifford's Ice Cream & Candy Co. - the Washington area's oldest and most distinguished ice cream parlor. We've been making gourmet ice cream and candies since 1938, and our clientele has included President Dwight D. Eisenhower, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, and actress Goldie Hawn. Our founder, John Nash Gifford, an experienced ice cream maker, spent several years perfecting his secret recipes - creating wonderfully unique tastes like our signature Swiss chocolate, Peppermint Stick, or fresh or seasonal peach ice cream. And to this day, we continue to operate as a family-owned business, maintaining the tradition that has made Gifford's a local legend. All of our ice creams, sorbets, sauces, and candies are still made daily in nearby Silver Spring, Maryland, ensuring superior quality and freshness.

Olivia Everson: Hello, my name is Olivia Everson from Giffords Ice Cream & Candy Company and today we are going to be making ice cream sundaes. Right now, I am going to show you how to make a basic one scoop sundae. Some of the items you will need will be a bowl, an ice cream scooper, of course the ice cream, almonds or nuts of your choice, hot fudge or sauce of your choice such as chocolate sauce or butterscotch, whipped cream and of course the cherry.

The first step, we are going to get the ice cream and place it in the bowl. Then we are going to put hot fudge all over it, all across the top so that it's even. Then we go over and get the nuts. Sprinkle them all over nice and lightly. Next, we are going to grab the whipped cream and the key to putting whipped cream you want to point it down and kind of put a lot of pressure on the tip and you want to form a nice round circle. I am going to put the cherry and the key to putting the cherry, you always want to tap off the cherry juice because if you don't, there will be a like a lot of cherry juice all over the place and it looks kind of messy. So make sure you tap it off and place it right on top and looks delicious and that's how you make the basic one scoop sundae.

Next, we are going to make the icce cream sundae, Old Glory Parfait.
