Host: Do I need to take the GMAT?
Jeff Glazer: It depends on what kind of program you are applying to; the GMAT exam is generally used as the admissions test to get into MBA programs both here in the States and abroad in certain other countries. Within the last couple of years a few schools are also are excepting the GRE exam generally speaking the GMAT is the most widely accepted, there is also a few schools that dont require any specific standardized test to get into their programs so you will have to check with each school individually but generally speaking if you are applying for your MBA program then yes you will need to take the GMAT.
