Jeff Glazer: My name is Jeff Glazer with Griffon Preparation Services and we are going to be discussing GMAT preparation. Host: How much should I study for the GMAT?

Jeff Glazer: When it comes to how much you should study for the GMAT that really is going to vary on what kind of score you want. Generally speaking the more and longer people study the higher their score they get, so it really does depend on your goals. The average time most people take studying for the test is anywhere from 2 to 4 months of legitimate study and I say legitimate because that does not mean couple of hours here and there. But I mean solid study anywhere from 12 to even 20 hours a week. So you have to find usually about 2 to 3 hours a day of serious study for the GMAT because it does weigh so heavily in admissions process, you want to give it the time it deserves to get your scores as high as possible.
