1. Coat the pan with butter and place it on medium heat.

2. To make a sunny side up egg, crack the egg and let it cook on the bottom of the pan as is. When the egg white solidifies, scoop it off.

3. To make an over easy egg, let it sit for a minute or so on one side and then flip it over and cook it on the other side.
