Thanksgiving Dinner - How to Make Stuffing
Ingredients
1 small onion3 ribs of celery
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablepsoon of butter
1 loaf of Sourdough bread
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh thyme
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh Italian parsley
1 tablespoon of chopped sage
2 eggs
2 cups of chicken stock
Instructions
1. Dice the onion and celery and cook them over medium heat in olive oil and butter. Let them sweat for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and then transfer it to a tray to cool down for 10 minutes.
2. Place the onion and celery in a mixing bowl and add the sourdough bread which has been cooked in the oven at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes and then diced. Add the thyme, parsley and sage and mix it up.
3. Add the eggs and chicken stock to the bowl and let it stand for 10 minutes. Form the mixture into patties and place them in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
4. Brown the patties in a non stick pan with grape seed oil for five minutes on each side.
5. Place the stuffing in the oven for 5 minutes at 350 degrees to finish cooking.
