Thanksgiving Dinner - How to Make Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

5 pound sweet potatoes
3 tablespoons of salt
1 teaspoon of white pepper
2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

1. Peel the potatoes and dice them into large pieces. Cover them with cold water and add 2 tablespoons of salt. Cook them for 30 minutes, allowing them to simmer at a low boil.

 

2. Drain the potatoes and mash them. Season them with 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper and 2 tablespoons of butter.
