Do men and women communicate differently?

Steven Gaffney: We often ask that and here is the thing, I think there are so many books out there that say men talk about, say one thing, women speak in another language and here is the thing that you got to ask yourself, is it really improving the situation? With all these self help books about men are one way, women are another way is it really helping? Divorce is still basically at 50%. So, now you might be thinking, so what's the answer? The answer is instead of trying to judge each other let's ask more questions. I had a gentleman in a seminar of mine, who came up to me and he said, I am having problems with my wife, I don't know if I should just fix our problems or if I should just listen to her, and I said why don't you just ask her. He looked at me and he said, that's a good question, I should do that. The key thing is instead of judging each other, if we just start to ask questions and probe a little bit, it can make all the difference so what can do, you can just say, do you want me to just listen or do you want some answers or do you want me to try to help you solve the problem and that's true for both men and women. I think if we stop judging each other but just start treating each other from we just don't know and ask more questions, there will be a lot less divorce and a lot less problems in our personal and business life.
