Host: Do colleges prefer the IB or AP program?

Jerome Cole: The international Baccalaureate program along with the Advanced Placement Program, those who are at advanced level courses or advanced level programs if you were taught at the high school level. Even though they are taught at the high school level, they are considered college level courses. I think schools view them both very favorably, I am not aware of any schools out there that prefer one over the other. Most schools look at them and say, this is a student who has challenged him or herself by taking college level courses and he is probably in most cases prepared to come to my college and be very successful. So, I do not think there is any preference.
