Host: Are all financial award notices the same, and do they contain the same information?

Brad Barnett: It certainly would be nice and in the perfect world I think all financially reward notices would look exactly alike, but the fact is they don t. They can differ as in night and day. So, if you are looking for schools and you re comparing schools, make note that what you see in one financial award notice. It may not be the same thing you see on another. A great example of this is not all school s offer student loans upfront. So, you may have a financial aid award notice from one school who does and you see loans, you may have a notice from another school that doesn t and you do not see loans. That doesn t means you are not eligible for loans at that second school. They are not just offering them upfront, so you need to touch base with them and find out what s going on.
