Gray Ryan Blair: The reason why it is setup as 1,3,5 is for the same reason why a recipe has a set of instructions. You need a system, you need some type of a format that's easy to remember. But it is very simple to state that for every one goal you need to have multiple reasons why. For the same reason if you look at your automobile again and you will notice your gas gauge probably has a quarter half a tank three quarter and full. Just look at this as you want to have three whys. You want to have much gas in the tank as possible. Then the action step for a small intermediate type of a goal. You want to be able to identify exactly what the steps are going to be in writing. So the 1,3,5 concept what it does more than anything else it just gives you a frame of reference with which to box it in and have a written strategy. Now this could be done on the back of a napkin, it could be done by just pulling out a white paper if you will. But if you follow the system and pay attention to it what you will find is that systems work and I have seen this work thousands of time and I know it will work for anybody at any time and at any age.
