Host: What is the difference between a prison consultant and a sentencing expert?

Ed Bales: Prison consultants mainly deal with the facilitation of prison related matters. Where's someones going to go? What level? What programs maybe available that will reduce their sentence? Sentencing consultants deal with the scoring system, that's usually assigned from the Court of jurisdiction and they deal with related issues as far as security levels go and as far as alternatives to sentences. You need both in my opinion to work a good team effort to get someone the best possible sentence and make the sentence as easy as it's possible on them once they do go into incarceration.
