Cary Ferrell: Hi! My name is Cary Ferrell; I am one of the PGA instructors at the Dulles Golf Center and The Chuck Will Golf Academy.

Today, I am going to show you little bit about a Fairway Bunker and how to hit it out of a Fairway Bunker.

Body Lines Feet, hips, shoulders, target line. Ball position is going to be a little bit further back in your stance. Your first priority is to get it over the lip and hit ball first.

Dig in - If you dig in and its real soft sand, you might have to choke down a little bit more. Choke down as much as youve dug in.

Take your regular grip, set the ball back in your stance. Just like on our pitching, where we kept our feet pretty flat, youre going to keep your feet flatter here.

Just your regular golf swing flat-footed.

Ball first.
